Leading Indian Stock Exchange Atrium
Where markets roared, we delivered silence
How MSS transformed the acoustics of a landmark atrium at India’s leading stock exchange office
At the heart of India’s most influential financial district lies an atrium like no other. Towering at 26 meters with a skydome ceiling, this space isn’t just architectural, it’s symbolic. A venue for functions, gatherings, and everyday movement, echo was the uninvited guest that never left.
So MSS stepped in to make the echo disappear without touching the design. Just the acoustics.
The Acoustic Challenge
This wasn’t an office. It was a landmark. A place where employees walk past digital ticker boards. Where sculptures and skylight form a visual experience. Where sound, though, lingered far too long. The brief was clear: reduce reverberation, preserve design, and execute it seamlessly in a space with daily footfall. The MSS Solution: Tratti from Okko
We selected Tratti, a Scandinavian acoustic panel made from NZ sheep wool, processed in Sweden. Known for its balance of form and function, Tratti was the perfect fit for a space that was meant to be both seen and heard, but never echoing.Installation Highlights
